Jewellery Valuations Hampshire
Serving the county of Hampshire, including the towns of Winchester, Basingstoke and Portsmouth, we are an independent firm of professionally RICS qualified valuers and experts in jewellery valuations and probate valuations. We cover a wide range of items for valuation throughout the Hampshire area. These include antiques, artwork, jewellery, silver, watches and clocks, Oriental works of art, collectors items like coins, medals and stamps.
Our excellent reputation and long experience draws many discerning clients to us, and we in turn provide a fully confidential probate valuation and jewellery valuation service to our clients in Hampshire. We can also assure you that we remain sensitive at all times to your particular situation and specific needs.
We can visit your home anywhere in Hampshire, should you require a valuation of jewellery. We are able to facilitate sales direct to a jewellery collector, dealer or sell via the most suitable auction room available. Our goal is always to ensure the best possible price is achieved for your jewellery.
As we are a totally independent firm of valuers, we have the freedom to recommend the best place to sell to maximise the selling price of your items. This depends on the items in question and might be via auction or a private sale which can be brokered to a collector, museum or dealer. If auction is agreed as the best route to market then we do not charge, because our fee is covered by the auction house via an introductory commission.
We also regularly undertake probate valuations in Alton, Petersfield and Fareham and many other towns in Hampshire. These valuations can be for solicitors, executors and beneficiaries depending on the situation. Our valuations of jewellery, antiques and chattels are done in accordance with Section 160 of the Inheritance Tax Act 1984. Any valuations are fully compliant with HMRC, and are undertaken sensitively and discreetly at all times by a RICS qualified art and antiques valuer. We also provide expert advice to executors and trustees in regards to valuations of chattels for Capital Gains Tax, the Acceptance in Lieu (AIL) scheme and Conditional Exemption.
Following grant of probate, we can arrange for the sale of some or all of the contents of a property either via auction or a private sale. If needed, we can also deal with any house clearance required, and ensure that the property is left broom clean.
Our network of contacts in Hampshire will help to ensure that your items are made known to the right buyers at the right time. This is critical as it means that they stand every chance of attracting the highest prices achievable.
Many relevant professionals such as solicitors, accountants and insurance companies recommend our valuation services due to our accreditations, decades of experience and consistently excellent reputation. We are continually involved with high net worth insurers such as Dual, Hiscox, AIG, Axa and others.
Delivering the best possible results for our clients is critical to our operation, and we have received glowing feedback and kind comments from many clients in Hampshire and other areas, over the many years we have been in business.
