The majority of our work is advising clients on the sale of their jewellery, watches, coins, medals, art and antiques. Being totally independent, we can truly recommend the best place to sell to maximise the value. This might be via auction or a private sale which can be brokered to a collector, museum or dealer. Our wealth of contacts have been acquired throughout the art world over the last 40 years. We sell for clients in London and across the South East of England including Sussex, Surrey, Kent and Hampshire.
Fees For The Auction & Private Sales Services
If an auction is agreed as the best route to market then we do not make a charge, as our fee is covered by the auction house through an introductory commission.
If a private sale is brokered, then we charge a 10% commission subject to a minimum charge of £50.
The exception to this is the sale of gold, gold coins, silver or platinum to a bullion dealer which we can handle on behalf of a client for a reduced commission of 7.5% subject to a minimum charge of £40.
