We regularly undertake probate valuations for solicitors, executors and beneficiaries. Our valuations of  jewellery, antiques and Inheritance Tax Valuations of Chattels are done in accordance with Section 160 of the Inheritance Tax Act 1984. The work is HMRC compliant and undertaken sensitively and discreetly by a RICS qualified art and antiques valuer.

We also advise executors and trustees on valuations of chattels for Capital Gains Tax, the Acceptance in Lieu (AIL) scheme and Conditional Exemption.

Following grant of probate, we can arrange for the sale of some or all of the contents of a property either via auction or a private sale.
