Automobilia Collection For Sale

Part of our sales service for clients is recommending the best method of selling their prized possessions or collection. Sometimes we arrange a sale via a specialist auction house, or directly to a dealer and occasionally, when the time it takes to sell the items is not so critical, we offer the pieces to our wide database of contacts and advertise them on the internet.
This is the case with an interesting collection of automobilia that we have been asked to sell. One of the pieces from the collection is this great French Art Deco enamel dealership sign from the 1930s which our client purchased in a brocante, in France, several years ago. It is a scarce survivor in France and particularly rare to find in this country.
The colours are still strong and vivid and there are a few of the usual chips to the enamel especially around the edges but generally this sign is in better than average condition, especially for the age. It is marked with the maker’s name Emaillerie Alsacienne Strasbourg Hoenheim and the dimensions are 90cm high by 78.5cm wide. The asking price is £375. This has now been sold to a collector in Wiltshire for the full asking price.
If this or details of the rest of the collection are of interest please telephone or email us for further information.
