I have just valued for insurance purposes a beautiful and highly desirable classic car. It is an Aston Martin DB 2/4 Mk3 in sage green from 1959. It has the Lagonda straight 6 engine with twin SU carburettors.

The elegant curvaceous body is coachbuilt in aluminium and was quite a head turner in it’s day and still is today.

The smell of the leather interior instantly transports me back in time to when I was a young boy and went to visit my father’s classic car showroom. I used to sit in so many cars like this, imagining I was driving them. Happy days.
